2. About Samasto
Samasto is an online marketplace that connects buyers with local stores and service providers. We facilitate the discovery, ordering, and delivery of products and services. Samasto itself does not own, sell, or stock the products listed on the Platform — those are provided by independent stores and sellers.
3. User accounts
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
- You must be at least 18 years old to create an account and use the Platform.
- One account per person. Do not share your account or let others use it.
- We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
4. Orders and payments
- Prices displayed are set by the stores and may include applicable taxes.
- Delivery charges, packaging fees, and service charges (if any) are shown before you place the order.
- An order is confirmed only after the store accepts it. We reserve the right to cancel orders that cannot be fulfilled.
- Payments are processed through secure third-party payment gateways. Samasto does not store your card or bank details.
- Cash on delivery may be available depending on the store and your location.
5. Delivery
- Estimated delivery times are indicative and may vary based on distance, order volume, and store preparation time.
- You must provide an accurate delivery address and be available to receive the order.
- If you are unavailable at the time of delivery, the delivery partner may attempt to contact you. Failed deliveries may not be eligible for a refund.
6. Cancellations and refunds
- You may cancel an order before the store begins preparing it. Cancellation after preparation has started may not be possible.
- If you receive damaged, incorrect, or missing items, contact us within 24 hours for a resolution.
- Refunds, when applicable, will be processed to the original payment method or as store credit, depending on the situation.
- Perishable items (fresh produce, bakery, prepared food) may have limited return eligibility.
7. User conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose.
- Place fraudulent orders or misuse promotions or coupons.
- Harass, abuse, or threaten store owners, delivery partners, or other users.
- Attempt to access other users' accounts or interfere with the Platform's operation.
- Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the Platform without our permission.
8. Intellectual property
The Samasto name, logo, design, and content on the Platform are our property or licensed to us. Product images and descriptions are provided by the stores. You may not copy, reproduce, or distribute any content from the Platform without permission.
9. Limitation of liability
- Samasto acts as a marketplace and is not responsible for the quality, safety, or legality of products sold by stores.
- We are not liable for delays caused by factors beyond our control (weather, traffic, store closures).
- Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid for the relevant order.
10. Dispute resolution
Any disputes arising from the use of the Platform shall be governed by the laws of India. We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any issues. If a resolution cannot be reached, disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Jaipur, Rajasthan.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
